Starting a blog..

I'm not sure yet if starting a blog is the best idea for me. Several of my friends have suggested that I use it to track the progress of wedding planning and I'm sure I'll update once we start that. We have already booked our photographer because I fell in love. His name is George Dean and he's amazing! His name is a link to his website, which I think is pretty cool! I need to find a wedding coordinator; but I don't know if I should wait until we get closer in order to make sure they don't convince me to use them in the planning process. I would love suggestions, but would hate to pay a wedding planner for 1,000 hours!

I'm in the beginning of my Junior 2 semester of nursing school. This semester I have Women's Health (delivering babies) and Adult I (all things medical-surgical). I also have three online classes which just might be the death of me. I'm terrible at making myself do things, but I'm working on that. I think that getting a blog might be the wrong direction, but maybe I'm wrong. If anything, it'll make me feel better to say things on here and know that if someone gets sick of listening to me, they don't have to follow my blog!

I have my first Adult I test on Wednesday and I'm supposed to start studying for it but I have a Groups (online class) article to find and discussion board post to post and clinical paperwork to finish up for Adult I and then I can start studying! Goodness, college is hard. I also just got back from my Leadership Institute Leadership Committee meeting in Denton. We have teamed up with some other organizations for Project Tomorrow. The company that we are supporting is TOMS, which is a shoe company that gives a pair of shoes away to kids in need all over the world for every shoe they sell. We are planning our event for this semester, which is on April 6th. It's going to be a sock hop on the Denton campus and it should be VERY cool. My friend Ashlee and I went and talked to La Di Dah, as shoe company in Denton who sells TOMS and they are going to be on hand to sell shoes during the day. Pretty cool! So although today has been somewhat productive, it hasn't been productive in the way that I planned!

I should really go start my Groups work because I'm really not looking forward to it and won't do it unless I make myself! I think this first blog was pretty successful! Hopefully I'll blog often and, if anything, use it as a therapeutic opportunity!
